How do I connect my smartphone to my PC?

Simply scan the QR code displayed on the home page with your smartphone's camera. Your phone will automatically open the scanner and connect to your PC. No app installation needed!

What types of codes can I scan?

Cam4QR supports QR codes and various barcode formats including EAN/UPC, Code 128, Code 39, and more. You can toggle between QR code and barcode modes in the scanner.

How secure is my data?

Each session uses a unique, cryptographically generated ID. Your scanned data is transmitted securely via WebSocket and stored temporarily. Sessions expire after 24 hours for security.

Do I need to install an app on my phone?

No! Cam4QR works directly in your phone's web browser. Just scan the QR code and grant camera permissions when prompted.

Can I use this on any device?
